Democrat Candidate Meet & Greet for Kennebec and Waldo Counties

Meet Pam Swift of Palermo and Rep. Paige Zeigler of Montville at a family-friendly event for registered Democrats. Other candidates are expected to attend but have not yet been confirmed.

Swift is running for Maine’s House of Representatives in District 62, which includes Palermo, China, Somerville, Windsor, and Hibberts Gore. Zeigler currently represents Palermo and is campaigning for election to the District 40 seat, which represents Islesboro, Liberty, Lincolnville, Montville, Morrill, Searsmont and Appleton. Robyn Stanicki is running to represent District 38 including Brooks, part of Frankfort, Jackson, Knox, Monroe, Swanville, Thorndike, Unity, and Waldo. Jason Trundy is a candidate for Waldo County Sheriff.

Local and regional leaders in the Democratic Party will also be there to support the candidates and speak about issues important to Central Maine voters. While the adults discuss the upcoming election, their kids will enjoy a bounce house, cornhole and other outdoor games.

Also in attendance will be Joanne Mason, chair of the Kennebec County Democratic Committee; Sara Salley, chair of the Waldo County Democratic Committee; and Mark Brunton, chair of the China Democratic Committee.
